Sept 6: First Annual Blues on the Rock
Co-sponsored by the River Basin Blues Society and the Rockport City Parks Board, the “Blues on the Rock” Music Festival will feature a great lineup of bands, including Blind Dog Gatewood & Pat Pepin, Laurie Jane & the 45s, Lew Jetton & Hwy 61 South, 2 Miles Back and The Beat Daddys.
Tin Man Brewing Co. will be the vendor for the beer garden. The beer garden will be in a fenced-in area. Only those over 21 years of age will be allowed in. Admission will be $5 per person at the gate. All ages welcomed. No coolers will be allowed. There will be plenty of the parking on the park grounds the day of the event. The River Basin Blues Society is a 501c3 nonprofit organization and will receive the monies from the admissions taken at the gate the day of the event.

Owensboro Convention Center Bringing Dining and Wine-pairing Event
Back to the Bluegrass
Owensboro, KY (September 3, 2015) – The South has never tasted so good! The Owensboro Convention Center is excited to announce the next series of Cork & Cuisine as “Back to the Bluegrass” on Thursday, September 17 at 6:00pm featuring exquisite foods and flavorful wines and spirits from across Kentucky.
Cork and Cuisine “Back to the Bluegrass” is a five course meal expertly paired with the perfect wine. Each course will be presented by Executive Chef, Stephen Helm and Creation Gardens, Randy Bush, along with wine and spirits presentations by Coastal Wine and Spirits and Val-U Liquors.
“I believe I am more excited about this 5th installment of Cork & Cuisine Back to the Bluegrass more than any other!” stated Randy Bush, Managing Partner of Creation Gardens. “Excited to have Black Hawk Farms as a new sponsor and their incredible Black Angus meat on the menu!”
