MARCH 28TH MURDER MYSTERY DINNER THEATRE TO BENEFIT EASTER SEALS

WILL FEATURE LOCAL CELEBRITIES IN “CURSE OF THE TIKI”; RESERVATIONS REQUIRED BY MARCH 24.

Reserve your tickets by March 24 for the March 28th murder mystery dinner theatre, “The Curse of the Tiki”, hosted by Epsilon Sigma Alpha to benefit Easter Seals. Admission of $25 per person includes dinner and the performance, which will feature local celebrities acting in a fun “radio play” murder mystery.

In the tropical-themed play, Detective Charlie Wang visits the Noa Museum on the Island of Lanai in Hawaii, where he is confronted with a stolen Tiki, forgery and murder. Celebrity “actors” scheduled to star in the production include:

Ron Ryan of Evansville Boys and Girls Club as Detective Charlie Wang

Wayne Hart, Eyewitness News WEHT/WTVW Chief Meteorologist, as Sammy Wang, the detective’s son

Dick Engbers, former Director of Evansville Civic Theatre, as Hawaiian singer Don Po

Evansville’s First Lady Carol McClintock as tourist Susie Fugi

Ryan O’Bryan of 106.1 KISS-FM and ESPN Evansville as Artie Facts, museum curator

Christine Ryan of Deaconess Women’s Hospital as Penelope Rapper, museum benefactor

Marc Roberts, friend of ESA, as archeologist Dr. Chris Diggs

Jamie Bandy of Easter Seals as hula dancer Okalani

A cash bar will be available. Guests can bid on silent and live auction items, and cash prizes will be awarded to audience members who solve the “crime” before the play reveals the culprit.

“The Curse of the Tiki” is Saturday, March 28, 6:30 p.m. at Evansville VFW Post #1114 (at Wabash and the Lloyd). Tickets are $25 each for the dinner and performance, and all proceeds will fund therapy for local individuals with disabilities at the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center. Reservations are required by March 24. Call Linda Wilson of ESA at 812-477-7627 for details and to reserve tickets.
