Join us for the Burdette Barbeque, Bands & Brew on Saturday, September 27 from 1:00pm to 8:00pm! At 1:00pm the festivities will start at the Burdette Park Pavilion. We will have some of your favorite summer activities in one big event! We will have a Barbeque Competition with teams competing for a top prize of $600.00 in each of 3 categories: Ribs, Pulled Pork, and Chicken. At 3:00pm you can join in the judging by purchasing a $7.00 tasting cup and making the rounds to vote for the winner of the $300.00 People’s Choice Award! The music kicks off at 1:30pm on the pavilion stage with bands playing until 8:00pm! Besides tasting the barbecue there will also be “Festival” style Food Vendors. The Music Schedule is: 1:00pm – 2:30pm Deja Blu 5; 2:45pm – 4:15pm The Honey Vines; 4:30pm – 6:00pm Ryan Rigdon & The Hi-Rize Hillbillies; BBQ Winners will be announced during this break then from 6:30pm – 8:00pm its the Dang Heathens.
